WAAG Taillight Brush Guard Installation

by Keith Millsap

I really wanted a set of taillight guards that would protect my taillights. I really liked the looks of the WAAG Tailight guards. They match the curves of the ST taillights perfectly. They were pretty easy to install.

Here is what comes in the box: Two taillight guards, instructions, and 4 metal screws.

I had to remove the top and bottom protective rubber screw covers for the taillight. I then removed the original taillight screws. The instructions say to toss them, but I am going to hold onto them in case I ever want to remvoe the guards. I held up the guard and installed the two new screws. In the picture you can see the mounting brackets and two new screws.

Once the guard is mounted, there is a little rubber support bracket on the guard that attaches to the taillight lens. There is a adhesive patch on this support bracket. I just peeled off the adhesive covering and stuck it to the taillight lens. That's all there was to it. I just repeated the same process for the other taillight. Here is a picture of the installed WAAG Taillight Brush Guard.
